Niall Begley is a policy professional specializing in EU energy policy. He previously worked in the European Parliament supporting MEP Barry Andrews’ work in the Industry, Research and Energy Committee (ITRE). Prior to joining the Parliament, Niall worked at Flogas Enterprise Solutions, where he operated in the electricity and gas markets. Niall holds an MA in International Relations and Diplomacy from the College of Europe in Bruges. His thesis applied quantitative natural language processing methods to analyze EU renewable energy securitization. He holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin and completed an Erasmus exchange at UCLouvain.
