CurrENT and its members join forces at ENLIT 2025

For this new edition of ENLIT, CurrENT and its members unite for the first time under the same banner : the Grid Enhancing Pavilion. This is the occasion to speak with one voice to showcase the benefits of innovative grid technologies for Europe’s grids.

The Grid Enhancing Pavilion is a unique platform for technology operators to collaborate and create synergies by leveraging our collective strength.

The pavilion will gather leading companies in innovative grid technologies like Ampacimon, CTC Global, Enertechnos, Magtech, Reactive Technologies and Smart Wires. They will showcase how innovative grid technologies like Dynamic Line Rating, High Capacity Conductors, Advanced Power Flow Control and others can help Europe build an optimized, stronger and more resilient energy system. According to CurrENT’s recent study with Compass Lexecon, they can unlock up to 40% of additional grid capacity, which is crucial to respond to the increase in demand, growing electrification and integration of renewable energy sources.

But just like our members, innovative grid technologies are not isolated from one another. Their potential is maximized when they are used together. By presenting these solutions side by side, the Pavilion demonstrates how interoperability between technologies can multiply grid efficiency gains, something that can’t be seen in isolation.

The pavilion will enable key discussions on how innovative grid technologies can contribute to Europe’s energy transition and competitiveness. For policymakers, it offers a one-stop window into the technologies enabling Europe’s clean energy goals; for industry, it’s a space to align on common challenges and accelerate adoption.

This pavilion comes at a crucial time for the European regulatory landscape. The European Commission is set to adopt its Grids Package before the end of the year. Policymakers now have a unique opportunity to create an innovation-friendly framework that encourages innovative and cost-effective solutions and fosters investments.

By acting as a bridge between innovation and policy, CurrENT gives the Pavilion strategic significance. Join us at the Grid Enhancing Pavilion from 18 to 20 November in Bilbao to shape the regulatory and technological blueprint for Europe’s future grids.
